Dr Michael James Bowes has extensive experience in commercial law including commercial water law. He has worked with international organisations (The United Nations, The Council of Europe) private organisations (fund management, private enterprise), universities and law firms. He currently works with Eversheds Sutherland LLP as a water specialist to Europe's largest water and waste company.

He holds several post-graduate qualifications including a Masters and Doctorate in commercial water law from Cornell University and a Masters in Sustainability Leadership with a water law focus from Cambridge University. He is an English and Scottish qualified solicitor and publishes in the water and utility sector.
